Why Wholly of Holies?

The scriptures tell us that when Jesus Christ died on the cross, the veil that separated the Holy of Holies from the sanctuary was torn. In Ancient Judaism, the center most part of the temple was reserved for God alone. The only person allowed inside was the High Priest for one day a year. A very long double-layered veil is what separated this holy place known as the Holy of Holies from the rest of the sanctuary.

Therefore, when Chirst died, the torn veil demonstrated that we, humanity, were able to come before God – holistically, with everything we have.

I have always loved the Bible for as long as I can remember. But once I started to formally study the Bible I started falling in love with our Old Testament heritage. Without the Old Testament, the testimony of the New Testament is incomplete. So here, on this website – I seek to explore the Old Testament by ripping back the veil – and being Wholly in the Holies with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit by means of Jesus Christ.
